Will You Let God Be God?

It’s time people stop directing God. I believe that God wants to do for us more than we can ask or think, but we limit Him with our thoughts and actions. Why? Because often our thoughts are negative, dark, full of anxiety, unforgiving, loveless, full of fear and hatreds, and depressed. “Will you let Me be Me?” God says, “Allow Me to be the Lord of your life, to be the master of your health, and to be the master over your circumstances.”

Have you forgotten that God has control over all things, that Satan has no power over you? God says, “Will you let Me be Me?” God’s love is greater than any daily hindrance that comes your way. Let God remove from your heart any criticisms that lie there. Let God remove all harsh judgments against others. “Will you let Me be Me?” God says, “Let Me prove to you that you are the object of My affection and that I desire to open up the windows of heaven for you. Let Me be your God, your joy, your peace, and your teacher.”

2 Timothy 3:16… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (KJV).

Everyone needs Scripture verses in their hearts and minds and not on the shelf somewhere. Paul teaches that Scripture is profitable. The word “inspiration” is a good word. It means “a dynamic flow of air emitting a fragrance, a life force, energy, or power.” The word “inspiration” literally means “God-breathed.” Everyone needs a word that God has breathed into them. He will breathe that word into your spirit. Note Job 32:8, “But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding” (KJV). God wants to give His people understanding. Is it a God-breathed word that is operating in your life? Or is it a negative word that you read or heard?
