Zeal In Labor
Go, labor on; spend and be spent,
Thy joy to do the Father’s will;
It is the way the Master went;
Should not the servant tread it still?
Go, labor on! ‘tis not for naught
Thine earthly loss is heavenly gain;
Men heed thee, love thee, praise thee not;
The Master praises–what are men?
Toil on, faint not; keep watch and pray!
Be wise the erring soul to win;
Go forth into the world’s highway,
Compel the wanderer to come in.
Toil on, and in thy toil rejoice;
For toil comes rest, for exile, home;
Soon shalt thou hear the Bridegroom’s voice,
The midnight peal, “Behold, I come!”
Bits And Pieces…
Revival is not correcting what the wicked are doing; it is correcting what the believer is doing.
“The devil counts on preachers to be fearful of confrontation.” –Paul Cain
John 8:39… “If you are Abraham’s children, do the deeds of Abraham” (NASB). Abraham interceded for Sodom, rather than wanting judgment. Intercession is part of God’s nature, and something that He looks for in us. Mercy always triumphs over judgment. America is filled with evils. If we say we are of Abraham, and are Americans, then we should be interceding for America.
The kingdom of God is made up of people, not things.
