Moments Of Truth: The Eyes Of The Lord

The eyes of the Lord are searching with eyes like flames of fire. The Lord is searching our minds and thoughts and intentions to prepare us for His coming. There are Scriptures that tell of what the “eyes of the Lord” will do for His people. Let me list a few of them…

The eyes of the Lord see to strengthen… 2 Chronicles 16:9… “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him” (KJV).

The eyes of the Lord see to direct… Psalm 32:8… “I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.”

The eyes of the Lord see to encourage… John 1:47-48… “Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.”

The eyes of the Lord see to deliver… Psalm 33:18-19… “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.”

The eyes of the Lord see to protect… Psalm 34:15… “The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.”

The eyes of the Lord see to discover… Proverbs 15:3… “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

The eyes of the Lord see to preserve… Proverbs 22:12… “The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.”

The eyes of the Lord see to heal… Matthew 8:14-15… “And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.”

The eyes of the Lord see to provide… Matthew 9:36… “But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.”

The eyes of the Lord see to comfort… Luke 7:13-14… “And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise.”

The eyes of the Lord see to commend… Luke 21:2-3… “And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all.”

The eyes of the Lord see to lament… Luke 19:41… “And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it.”

Psalm 115:12-15… “The LORD hath been mindful of us; he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron. He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great” (KJV).
